The Tripe-Cree High-Power LED is equipped with three LEDs of the latest Cree XP-E2-series, which can be controlled individually. As a result this LED is suitable for the operation with all kinds of custom sabers.
The board is a Star PCB, which has the same size as a standard Seoul or Luxeon Rebel LED. In comparison with the optics, which are used for common LEDs such as Luxeon or Seoul on a Star PCB, those of the Tri-Cree LEDs are marginally lower.
